WHO
This event is organised by Mountain Bike Otago, www.mountainbikeotago.co.nz. If any profits are made, they will go towards club funds.
COUrse
The course is about 6km long with around 230m climbing per lap, most of which is super fun single tracks and a few special features thrown in the mix. Developed by Mountain Bike Otago over the last few years the Wakari Creek trails have been used in a range of events including xc races and formed part of the first stage of the hugely successful 3 peaks enduro.
After the randomised starting game is completed riders will go straight into the wall of pain climb, which is actually a good place for passing if you are strong enough. But once into the single track, we have a number of obstacles and structures to keep everyone well entertained.
Number of laps TBC.
