HTC confirms Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the One X, One S, and the One XL

HTC has confirmed that the latest iteration of Google's Android OS will be coming to, for now, three of their smartphones. These smartphones are the HTC One X, One XL, and the One S. I believe that HTC is the first to do this, aren't they? Samsung has yet to announce of confirming anything about the update. I have not heard anything yet from other smartphone makers, so kudos to HTC for this! Although the update is yet to roll out, they are still probably busy with the ICS update, a confirmation that an update is coming is good news. HTC did not give any specific date or time that they will start rolling out the update but sure enough, I will be blogging about it when it does happen. Head after the break to read HTC's announcement regarding about this.

"We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google's latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean."
