Digital Domain 3.0 has signed with WME. The agency will advise on the visual effects company’s growth and expansion as it moves forward after its 2012 bankruptcy and 2013 acquisition by Hong Kong-based Sun Innovation (now Digital Domain Holdings).
The visual effects and digital production company is Oscar-nominated this year for Iron Man 3. It won the Academy Award for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Previous Academy nominations include work for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Real Steel and I, Robot. Digital Domain, led by new CEO Daniel Seah, is currently working on Disney’s Maleficent, which joins recent projects Ender’s Game and Oblivion.

In addition to its 100-plus film portfolio, the company also creates visuals for commercials, video games and music videos. In 2012 Digital Domain won a Titanium Lion Award from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for “Virtual 2Pac,” a collaboration with Dr. Dre that created a hologram of the late Tupac Shakur to perform alongside Snoop Dogg in a live Coachella performance.
