born from the studio of nottingham-based designer oliver hrubiak, is the ‘frank table lamp’. characterized by the overtly constructed aesthetic, it demonstrates truth to materials and manufacturing by combining the utilitarian feel of metal with the natural warmth of wood. with the ability to direct illumination by tilting and swiveling the shade, the design can be used either as a task or ambient light. the simplicity of the appearance is achieved through a merging of mediums including the powder-coated bent steel, ash, spun aluminum and brass fittings and of and an energy-efficient LED bulb.
