The story follows a man who designs and sells heists to the highest bidder. But when a job goes terribly wrong, he ends up with a target on his back. In a rare selfless act, he takes out a life insurance policy with his estranged daughter as the beneficiary. However, he discovers the policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days, and so he’s tasked with staying alive for that long.
PalmStar Media Capital and Merced Media fully financed the film, while Universal Pictures will distribute domestically. Shooting is slated to begin on March 1.
