Three protesters dressed as members of the punk band Pussy Riot were escorted out of the Cologne Cathedral in Germany on Sunday after protesting the Russian band's imprisonment, The Local, an English-language German news site reports.
A video from Russian news agency RT, available above, shows protestors with their faces covered being taken out of the cathedral. Toward the end of the video, a man can be heard chanting, "Free Pussy Riot!"
A police spokesperson said the group was shouting "wild" slogans and holding a banner, according to a Huffington Post translation of an article in Welt Online. Spiegel Online reports that a woman in the group was 20 years old and the men were 23 years old and 35 years old.
According to The Local, they "have been charged with breaching the peace and disturbing a religious service."

Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, a local newspaper, reports that "disturbing a religious establishment" could result in a fine or up to three years imprisonment, according to a HuffPost translation.
The three members of Pussy Riot -- Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 22, Maria Alekhina, 24, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, 30 -- were arrested in March for performing an anti-Putin "punk prayer" in a Moscow cathedral. On Friday, they were sentenced to two years in prison for hooliganism.
