SACRAMENTO-

Over the next five years, 40 percent of PG&E’s work force will retire and the company wants to fill those jobs with veterans.

The company believes the men and women who serve our country have the attributes necessary to be good utility workers.

The men and women will have to pass a class first but upon graduation, the company will hire at least 70 percent of them. Others will get jobs with other energy companies.

For more information on how you can sign up for this class, log onto PG&E’s Power Pathway website.
