Delayed by 20 minutes by some strong NCAA basketball, which averaged a 3.9 rating among adults 18-49, CBS’ Sunday ratings are subject to adjustment. The network still easily topped the night with its March Madness, leading into 60 Minutes and lifted outings of The Amazing Race (2.0 adults) and The Good Wife (1.7 adults).
It marked a near season high for The Good Wife, up three-tenths of a point from last week’s big twist. Publicity around the unexpected cast departure also improved total viewership, 10.4 million, to its second-highest haul of the season. CBS averaged a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 11.8 million viewers for the night.
