There are those who wish that Hugh Jackman would bring his singing talents to the role of the X-Men’s perennial tortured warrior, Wolverine. Those people have good reason to be very, very grateful to British radio on Wednesday.
During an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s The Matt Edmondson Show, Jackman performed a special version of the song “Who Am I” from Les Miserables, rewritten to reference his role in the Fox/Marvel movies with lines like “Am I a superhero with some claws, or just an actor searching for applause?” and “I’m at the gym doing weights each day, ‘Hugh has got to look buff,’ they say.”
