Two people wanted in connection to a recent attempted homicide were shot by officers Thursday afternoon in Fairfield.
Police say officers were searching for a man wanted for attempted homicide when they found him behind the Walmart store. According to investigators, the man was armed with a gun and an officer shot him shortly after 2:45 p.m.
A short time later, a related suspect – also wanted for attempted homicide – was found to also be armed and was shot by an officer.
Police say no officers were injured.
