RIPON–

A man is wanted for stealing a Springfield EMP 1911 9mm pistol Thursday from the Barnwood Arms store – a gun said to be valued at over $1,200.

The case for the gun was reportedly unlocked, with the man only needing to grab the gun and conceal it before walking out of the store.

Employees of the store eventually found that the gun was stolen and called police.

The suspect was wearing a gray 49ers shirt with red long shorts and black shoes at the time of the robbery. He is said to have a full-sleeve tattoo on his lower left arm.
