ROSEVILLE-

More than 1,000 jobs are coming to the Roseville area after Sutter Health announced a new administrative service center.

According to Sutter’s release sent Wednesday morning, the center is scheduled to open in early 2013 along Foothills Boulevard, near Highway 65 and Blue Oaks Boulevard.

Initially, Sutter is expected to employee more than 1,000 administrative support staff over the next 18 months, and there are possibilities for the center to grow over time.

The health care system is establishing the new center to support their Northern California health care operations.

The hub is part of Sutter’s effort to move things like finance, billing and other non-patient care functions to a centralized administrative center.
