DAVIS-

The people who live along fraternity row in Davis expect pranks, but not the kind that happened at Alphi Phi House.

A couple of girls who live in the house said 200 gold fish weren’t simply left in a pile in front of the door, but spread out over the entire area of the front porch. When they opened the front door the next morning, the fish were dead.

Prank, or something criminal?

“It’s a cruel joke, but this is fraternity row,” student Brice Lee said. “The fact that anything died, I don’t think that’s very appropriate.”

“I don’t think it’s right, but I’m not gonna lose any sleep tonight about it.” said Dustin Jones, a student visiting from the Los Angeles area.

“It’s gold fish. Yeah, it’s pretty messed up. They are animals, pretty funny joke,” said Davis student Ruben Almanza.

Police have no suspects.
