AUBURN–
The husband and wife team that operates Tumbling Creek Ranch in Auburn did not expect the payment they received for the farm fresh products they offer.
Their stand at 10490 Wise Road operates on the “honor system.” Customers take what they like and leave their money in a lock box.
Thursday night, Michelle Murray discovered many of their products missing and the lock box pried open. She found a handful of pot inside.
“We prefer cash or check,” her husband, Dave, said with a smile.
