SACRAMENTO COUNTY-

Just months after their flagship store closed, Capital Nursery will be closing their other two locations.

Their board voted Monday to close the Elk Grove and Citrus Heights locations. The roughly 60 employees were told of the decision Tuesday.

They closed their main nursery on Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento two months ago.
Capital Nursery says a dismal winter projection, and a substantial bid for their Citrus Heights property contributed to their decision.

The Elk Grove and Citrus Heights locations will remain open and sell their remaining inventory until mid-December.
