The American Advertising Awards Seattle

Our local competition recognizes the area’s best of the best - and it’s a pretty great party, too. The winners of these prestigious trophies go on to compete regionally, and the best then vie in the national competition. So yeah, an ADDY is kind of a big deal.

 

ANNOUNCING THE CALL FOR ENTRIES!

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR THE 2024 AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS SEATTLE

This competition offers so many relevant categories that you may not be aware of, or even expect.

Essentially, if you created work that people saw, it could probably be considered for an ADDY.

Websites, songs, VR experiences, illustrations, print ads—freaking TikTok videos—it’s all there.

Single: $120
Campaign $145
Late fee: $0

Professional Non-member
Single: $151
Campaign $169
Late fee: $30/entry beginning February 17th

Student
Single: $72
Campaign $84
Late fee: $20/entry beginning February 17th

Members are never subject to a late fee and get a nice discount on each entry. Entries submitted before 2/16 are not subject to a late fee.

Becoming a member could save you a lot of money on your entries or let you spend the same money on more entries. That’s just math.

important DATES

Entries will be accepted through Friday, February 16th.

We all know about deadlines, so we’ll say up front: Late entries will be accepted through Friday, February 23rd, with a late fee for non-members.

There is no secret extra late week we’re hiding beyond this.

Homework time, but fun. Well, kind of, but it’s worth it.

 

Winning an Addy doesn’t end with Seattle…

Your ADDY could win at the District XI competition in April!

If you win a Gold or Silver Seattle ADDY (congratulations!) your entry automatically advances.

If you then win Gold at District (bam) your entry automatically advances to National competition.

If you win Silver at District (woo hoo) you can still pay a nominal fee to have your entry considered at the National competition. It’s definitely worth it: Many district Silver winners have gone on to win Gold at Nationals! The ADDY chair will be in touch to ask if you want your entry included.
