SACRAMENTO-
A bike stop turned into a short foot pursuit, and then turned into an arrest, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The police officer stopped a man on his bike, and then the man tried running away from the officer. After a short run, the officer caught up to the man.
During the chase, he suspect, Jamie Cleveland, 23, tried to get rid of a baggie containing drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
He was booked into county jail for outstanding warrants, running from the police, violation of probation, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine.
