ABC7/KABC: Conviction in Murder of Two USC Chinese Students

Wu, YingA jury today in Los Angeles convicted a 22-year-old man in the 2012 murders of two Chinese students from the University of Southern California, reports ABC7/KABC.

Javier Bolden now faces life in prison without the possibility of parole for gunning down Ming Qu (pictured below) and Ying Wu (pictured left) in a robbery while the Ming Quvictims sat in their cars a mile from USC.

The jury also convicted Bolden of attempted murder of a man who was shot in the head and suffered permanent brain damage and a woman injured by a stray bullet.

Bolden’s accomplice Bryan Barnes pleaded guilty of two counts of first degree murder in February and received two life sentences without the possiblity of parole.
