STOCKTON–

“What are the odds?” Todd Foss asked FOX40.

He came home last night to an SUV parked in his backyard. “It crashed through my fence” and, it’s the second time it has happened to him.

Stockton Police told FOX40 that officers tried to pull a driver over near Hammer Lane and Sampson Road Friday when the vehicle came up with stolen plates.

The suspect pulled over, but just for a second, police say, to drop off the passenger, who started running before officers arrested him. The driver continued
and ended up in Foss’s backyard.

“Last time, it was the tree in my front yard” Foss said.

Back in November, another driver, who lead officers on a pursuit, ended up crashing in to his Stockton home. The 6th grade teacher has a theory.

“They drive and make that turn, ending up right in the cul-de-sac … I’m hoping my homeowner’s insurance covers this.”

No one was hurt, fortunately.

Police arrested the passenger in the car, but not the driver. If you have any information, contact the Stockton Police Department.
