Game of Thrones fans, get ready for a battle the likes of which we haven’t seen since season two.
We’re told the episode, called “The Watchers on the Wall,” takes place entirely on the Wall. Judging by the preview, Jon (Kit Harington), Sam (John Bradley) and the rest will be facing long odds as the Wildling army approaches Castle Black.

Here are our best guesses about what’s to come.
1. The battle will be epic.
Director Neil Marshall is back at the helm for the first time since overseeing season two’s Battle of the Blackwater. Marshall knows what he’s doing.
2. Jon and Ygritte’s story will come to a resolution.
One way or the other, it makes thematic sense for the Jon/Ygritte story line to come to an end. During the trailer we hear Maester Aemon (Peter Vaughan)’s words to Jon from season one: “Love is the death of duty.” Over and over, Jon has had to choose between love and duty, and for a while, with Ygritte (Rose Leslie), he chose love. We assume one of three things has to happen: She dies, he dies, or they come to peace with each other.

3. There will be at least one epic speech.
Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) tells the Night’s Watch: “Tonight we fight, and when the sun rises, I promise you, Castle Black will stand.”
4. Styr will show what he’s made of.
He’s already eaten multiple people, but we expect him to show an even more brutal side of himself in the upcoming episode.
5. Giants? Mammoths?
Fans have speculated that around the 0:11-second mark in the trailer we get a look at mammoths — or possibly giants — used by the Wildlings. We’re guessing mammoths, but which do you think they are?
