BBC America‘s Intruders has a premiere date.
From writer/executive producer Glen Morgan (The X-Files), the scripted drama, centered on a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others, will launch on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
BBC America has also released a minute-long trailer setting up the world where people who die can come back to life. “In the beginning there was death,” Sorvino ominously says.
Based on the Michael Marshall Smith novel The Intruders, the series stars John Simm, Mira Sorvino, James Frain, Tory Kittles and Millie Brown.
