STOCKTON-

Stockton Police say a man was mugged Thursday morning, and the thieves ran off with his cell phone and prosthetic leg.

The 49-year-old man was walking near Walgreens on Madison Street at about 10 a.m. when two men approached him and asked him for money.

Police say when he told them he didn’t have any, the two men beat him and stole his prosthetic leg and his cell phone.

The thieves reportedly laughed and ran away.

Police are looking for two men in their 20’s. One is about six feet tall with a shaved head and a goatee, and the other is just over five feet tall with a thin build.
