SACRAMENTO-

Former FOX40 anchor Sabrina Rodriguez appeared before a Sacramento judge Thursday to hear charges of grand theft, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime being brought by the Sacramento County District Attorney.

The charges stem from a 2013 report of stolen merchandise from a Coach store in Folsom.

Outside court Thursday, Rodriguez thanked her supporters, telling the Sacramento Bee “there are a number of people out there who have been so unbelievably supportive.”

Rodriguez resigned her position at FOX40 after charges were filed.

Rodriguez will be back in court on September 9.
