Jessica Sanchez now has more than 1M Twitter followers

Filipina-Mexican singer and American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez just hit an online milestone: she now has more than one million followers on Twitter.

 

As of 4 a.m. Wednesday (Manila time), Sanchez’s Twitter account, @JessicaESanchez, has 1,000,583 followers – less than 24 hours after Sanchez noted she was nearing the one-million mark.

 

“So close to 1 million followers... I would’ve never imagined... You guys are the best muah :)!!!!” she had tweeted before noon Tuesday.

 

Following her tweet Tuesday, the number of followers on her Twitter account steadily grew.

 

Sanchez was in the Philippines earlier this month for a one-night Valentine’s Day concert.

 

At the time, she tweeted her love for Manila. "Manila! I'm ready to give you all my love!! #ValentineConcert :)," she said.

 

While Sanchez finished second in American Idol Season 11, she gained much support in the Philippines, especially from her provincemates in Bataan.  — ELR, GMA News
