AMADOR COUNTY —
As of July 27th, The Sand Fire continues to rage through Amador County. It has threatened over 500 buildings, burned 3,800 acres, and is only 35% contained. Ten homes have been destroyed by the flames as over 1,400 firefighters battle back the heat.
