TRACY—
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a dead man was found in a field outside of Tracy.
The body was discovered on the 29200 block of Kassson Road, about 15 minutes east of Tracy.
The dead man was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
No motive has been established and no arrests have been made in the case.
The investigation is ongoing. Police have identified the victim but are not releasing the information until they notify the man’s next of kin.
