Vanessa Hudgens seals her fate as sexy trendsetter in tiny blue crop top and billowy white trousers at Young Hollywood Awards

Vanessa Hudgens was on hand to receive the Trendsetter Award at the most popular show among the younger generation.

The 25-year-old actress proved she was worthy of the trophy in another eye-catching ensemble as she arrived to the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday that drew a bevy of fresh-faced stars.

Cut-outs and short hemlines were the common theme among the outfits but stars like Kelly Osbourne and Ariel Winter kept surprising with their inventive pattern displays.

That's why she's a trendsetter: Vanessa Hudgens wowed the blue carpet at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday thanks to a midriff-baring ensemble 

Vanessa clearly stole the spotlight by displaying her amazingly toned, tanned abs in a blue halterneck Bongo top that stopped somewhere mid-rib region, and complimented the revealing look with white high-waist flaring trousers by designer Badgley Mischka.

'I designed this custom Bongo top specifically for Vanessa to wear to the Young Hollywood Awards,' Vanessa's stylist Natalie Saidi told JustJared. 'It’s young, fresh, sexy and effortless. Also a great way to show off her rock hard abs which she should definitely show off.'

Saidi added: 'I kept it simple with these chic high-waisted white flowy Badgley Mischka pants, so we could have fun piling on all the accessories. There’s never enough.'

The Spring Breakers star wore her blonde-tipped hair in a simple wavy bobb, showing that she'd made a wise choice ridding herself of the long Bohemian locks.

Vanessa wore dangling earrings and a multitude of silvery bangles on each wrist added even more sparkle as did the Jenny Packham Tinta feathery white clutch in 'barley'.

The actress attended the event with her younger sister Stella, who is also in show business, and the two had fun posing together on the blue carpet.

Stella, 18, went with a retro navy print playsuit with bunched up sleeves along with strappy sandals and a long, purple-tipped hairstyle.

Vanessa, meanwhile, was the picture of radiance backstage at Wiltern Theatre as she clutched her award close while smiling for the cameras.

The High School Musical alum is currently the face of clothing brand Bongo and certainly won more fans as she rejected digital enhancing of all of the promotional images.

'I absolutely love that Bongo wanted to do something different by not retouching my photos for their campaign,' the starlet wrote on Tumblr. 

'I think it is important for girls to be true to who they are, and not compare themselves to girls who have been photoshopped to look "perfect." God made us all unique for a reason and we should embrace our true self.'

The event, which was presented by Samsung Galaxy and airs Monday on the CW, was hosted by the ineffable Kelly Osbourne, who arrived to the venue in a futuristic white patterned dress accessorised by a slim black belt and simple black pumps.

Kelly switched to a black leather jacket and clingy black dress, which she wore while clowning around backstage with Derek Hough, professional snowboarder Louie Vito and actor Nolan Gould.

The Fashion Police co-host also changed into a third outfit that consisted of an orange pantsuit and black camisole.

Bella Thorne assumed a pretty pose in a pale pink mini-dress with braided green and gold edging around the modest neckline and mock sleeves.
