STOCKTON-

The surviving suspect in a bank robbery and deadly chase this summer in Stockton went before a judge Monday, but did not enter a plea. Meanwhile, Stockton Police updated their investigation, and have named a new suspect wanted for question, details are here.

Jaime Ramos faces more than 30 charges in connection with the July 16 robbery at Bank of the West, the pursuit that followed and the gunbattle with officers that ended the chase.

Monday in court, the district attorney asked for more time for discovery in the case. Ramos will be in court again on October 20.

The 19-year-old is accused of robbing the bank along Thornton Road with Alex Martinez and Gilbert Renteria. The three men took three women hostages as they left the bank.

As officers chased them, two of the hostages were released from the suspects’ car.

The third hostage, Misty Holt-Singh, was found dead inside the suspects’ car after a shootout between the men and police. It was later determined Holt-Singh died from an officers’ bullet, she was hit ten times by gunfire. Investigators believe she may have been used as a shield during the chase.

Renteria and Martinez were also killed. Ramos was taken into custody.

Police are currently looking for a fourth suspect, believed to have dropped off the other three at the bank.
