Reese Witherspoon brought back Elle Woods and Vanessa Hudgens went back to prom to support two different boys fighting cancer this week.
The 25-year-old actress - whose live-in boyfriend is Austin Butler - surprised her fan Cesar Guerrero with a tender kiss at the Sylmar High School prom on Thursday.
The High School Musical starlet and the dapper 17-year-old were connected by The Art Elysium, an organisation which enriches the lives of critically-ill youths.

'It was really nice getting to know you and to dance with you,' Cesar later wrote to Vanessa on Instagram.
'It really meant a lot to me that you took your time off and come to my prom! I love you so much!'
Hudgens will next act in the horror-comedy Kitchen Sink - due out January 9 - with Bob Odenkirk, Joan Cusack, Ed Westwick, and Patton Oswalt.

Cesar later wrote to Vanessa on Instagram: 'It was really nice getting to know you and to dance with you. It really meant a lot to me that you took your time off and come to my prom! I love you so much!'
And on Tuesday, the 38-year-old Oscar winner donned head-to-toe pink to reprise her Legally Blonde character for a four-year-old boy from the Midwest named Will.
'I hear that you're fighting so hard and strong against cancer and that in the hospital you've been watching a lot of Legally Blonde and loving it,' Reese captioned her Instagram.
'I wanted you to know that I made this sign in your honor - and I'm sending a big big hug and my hope and prayers. Just know - I'm a really big fan of YOURS!'
