Students, teachers and parents protested outside of the Mark Twain Elementary School Tuesday morning in hopes of stopping a possible closure of the school.
Mark Twain was not originally on the list of 11 different under enrolled schools in the district slated to close down. But, after reconsidering shutting down Tahoe Elementary, it is now down to the two schools in a battle of who will stay and who will go.
Thursday is when district officials will vote on closing the other ten schools on the list.
March 7 is when the vote on Mark Twain or Tahoe will come down.
