SIMI VALLEY (KTLA) —
A search was underway Monday in Simi Valley, for a man who stole gasoline several times from vans belonging to Kids N Things preschool.
Surveillance video showed the thief walking onto school grounds and carrying a hose on April 20.
He helped himself to gasoline in vans parked outside the facility, then was seen driving away in a truck.
“They’re just coming in and robbing our vans of 50 gallons, 100 gallons at a time,” van owner Mike Barona exclusively told KTLA5 News.
The man has hit the school at least five times, Barona said.
The school contacted police for help and was also making plans to hire a private investigator.
