Jimmy Kimmel sent a reporter to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. — which concluded on Sunday with the second of two consecutive weekends — to interview attendees about the bands they were most excited to see.
Were they most pumped about The Obesity Epidemic? The Chelsea Clintons? Shorty Drizzle and the Plumbercracks? The list goes on and on.
Of course, none of those are real. But that didn’t seem to bother the fans, bedecked in floral crowns and feather headdresses, who waxed enthusiastically about the non-existent acts.
Then again, the festival did host actual bands with names like Mord Fustang, Shovels & Rope and Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine.
So maybe The Chelsea Clintons isn’t that much of a stretch.
