Footage of Reese Witherspoon‘s arrest has hit the web.
On Friday morning, the Oscar-winning actress was handcuffed for disorderly conduct after her husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, was pulled over by the police on suspicion of DUI for swerving between lanes in Atlanta. His blood alcohol level was reported to be .139.
Witherspoon, 37, was upset and got out of the car twice, telling the police officer: “Do you know my name?” When the officer said no, she replied: “You’re about to find out who I am. …You are going to be on national news.”
According to USA Today, a security footage published by MyFoxAtlanta shows Witherspoon being handcuffed behind her back and led out of a Georgia state police car before being taken inside for booking at the Atlanta jail. The video contains no sound, but the Mud actress appeared calm and cooperative when taken into custody.
