This mod works with both Modloader (ML) and Forge Modloader (FML).
This mod is compatible with my other mods, though you might have to change some IDs in the config file.
This mod uses a config file so you can change the block ID if it conflicts with other mods.

DESCRIPTION:
Version 1.5.1r2 adds a block that tops the Grund Plant and now grows grass and has a chance of dropping seeds. Works just like a normal grund block and adds ability to use a wooden hoe to guarantee seed drop. Might have to start a new world, save your IDs, a new config is created.
Do you play with large biomes, often find yourself stuck in the middle of a desert, like to play with desert only maps or play in hardcore mode? Do you wonder how your going to plant seeds without having dirt to make soil? Then this mod is for you!!
This mod makes grund (dirt) plants grow in the desert, or any sandy areas as long as it is two or more blocks of connected sand.
Grund plants grow in the same fashion as sugar cane, except that it does not need water and will grow up to four blocks high. Grund plants does not need sunlight to grow (unrealistic I know) and will grow at night. Grund plants will usually grow by itself and never in groups more than two plants.
To get dirt from grund plants you can break the grund plant block with your bare hands or you can have any item equipped except the wooden spade. The wooden spade is used to harvest the plant so you can replant it.
INSTALLATION:
Install this version by placing the downloaded class files and the texture file into your "minecraft.jar" file (Don't worry the folders will just add the new contents without removing anything)

Install this version by placing the downloaded zip file into your "mods" folder.
