As he gears up for a slew of summer tour dates, John Mayer will hit Las Vegas on Sunday for the Academy of Country Music Awards.
The newly-single musician will join Brad Paisley on stage during the ceremony, which will also feature collaborations from Hunter Hayes and Stevie Wonder, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, as well as George Strait and Garth Brooks – among a laundry list of additional performers.
Mayer released his fifth studio album, Born and Raised, on May 22, 2012, after being delayed by health troubles. Just last year, Mayer underwent vocal cord surgery and was unable to sing during his recovery, but played guitar live with other artists. Mayer performed his first concert since 2011 in January of this year, raising money for firefighters in Bozeman, Mont., where he currently resides.
The Academy also announced on Friday that Gary Allan, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young and Eli Young Band have been added to the presenters lineup.
