It’s time to go out and see a ball game — at the theaters, that is.
The biopic 42 tells the story of iconic baseball player Jackie Robinson, played by Chadwick Boseman, and Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford), who helped make Robinson the first African American baseball player when he signed him to Major League Baseball in 1974. The Brian Helgeland-directed film also stars Nicole Beharie, Christopher Meloni and T.R. Knight.
