STOCKTON–

Police are looking into how a man was electrocuted at a warehouse along East Market Street Tuesday.

Officers were called to the place around 10 a.m. after the man’s body was found.

Investigators are now saying that he was trying to steal some wire before being electrocuted.

Police originally told FOX40 that the man was burned so badly that investigators were having a hard time identifying him. They now say he is a Hispanic man who looks to have been in his late 40’s or early 50’s.

More information to come. Stay tuned to FOX40 and FOX40.com.
