STOCKTON-

Neighbors along Princeton Avenue in north Stockton say two dogs brutally killed 15 cats Monday.

“It was a massacre,” neighbor Amanda Beghley said.

One of the dogs was described as a tan pit bull. The other was possibly a pit bull mix.

Animal Services say two dogs believed to be involved in the attacks are “in custody” as of early Wednesday evening.

“He went in my backyard and killed one of my kitties in front of me,” Connie Silva said.

Neighbors say the two dogs worked together, with each kill lasting only a few seconds. From there, witnesses say the dogs dropped the cats and continued down the street.
