STOCKTON-
Starting early Thursday morning, the left and middle lanes of southbound Interstate 5 between Country Club Boulevard and Freemont Street will shift onto the northbound side of the freeway.
The shift, which will make room for crews repaving part of the road, will last for six months.
Caltrans encouraged commuters to find alternate routes for the duration of the project.
