Fast National returns give an easy win to ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals — but like the first match-up between San Antonio and Miami, Game 2 is tracking short of last year. Before time zone adjustments, the game is currently averaging a 4.6 rating among adults 18-49, down 21 percent from last summer’s initial numbers (a 5.8 adults rating that rose to a 7.1 rating). Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night (1.9 adults) was down two-tenths of a point from last year’s early returns, while the Pre-Game show (1.9 adults) was off by 1.2 points. ABC is currently averaging a 3.9 rating in the key demo and 9.96 million viewers — though those numbers will go up during Monday afternoon.

The Tony Awards fared well on CBS. The Broadway kudos, never that huge of a draw in the key demo, were up two-tenths of a point from last year to a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49. Total viewers were also up 20 percent to 7.2 million, giving the show its largest audience since 2009. Prior to the Tonys, 60 Minutes (1.2 adults) was down a tenth of a point from its last original. CBS averaged a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 7.7 million viewers.
Animation repeats scored a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers for Fox. Encores of The Voice and America’s Got Talent earned NBC an average 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers.
Univision averaged a 0.7 rating in the key demo and 2 million viewers.
