As Fast & Furious 6 revs up moviegoers in the theaters, Discovery Channel is set to give viewers an inside look at illegal street car racing in a new series debuting Monday.
Street Outlaws takes a look at the fastest cars in Oklahoma City — home to one of the largest undercover street-racing rings in America — which range from a 1969 Chevy Nova to a race-ready farm truck. The latter is featured in this clip, which is exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, from Monday’s premiere.

The vehicle is driven by the longtime team consisting of “Farmtruck” and “AZN,” the latter of whom says the truck “flies under the radar; it doesn’t look like a race car.” Farmtruck adds that it boasts a turbo 350-cubic-inch, 800-horsepower engine and weighs 5,000 pounds.
“We use that weight to our advantage,” Farmtruck adds. “It will hook in situations where other cars won’t.”
Says AZN of their dangerous hobby, “There’s nothing like street racing. You almost have to tell yourself, are you ready to die if this vehicle goes out of control?”
The duo fall at No. 10 on “the list” of Oklahoma City’s 10 fastest street-racing cars. According to the city’s “street outlaws,” if you aren’t on “the list,” then you don’t matter. Not only will these racers do anything to get ranked on this list, they’ll do whatever it takes to stay ranked.
Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws debuts at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Monday, following a new episode of the series Fast N’ Loud.
