SACRAMENTO-

Sacramento Police say they arrested a man Thursday after he reportedly chased after cars and damaged a police cruiser.

Lee Rathbun, 36, was seen “jumping around” Shasta Avenue near the Shasta Community Park at about 1:30 p.m., according to officers. Rathbun then reportedly ran into the park, knocked over garbage cans and yelled at people before running into a parking lot to vandalize cars, police said in their activity log.

Police say no one was injured and Rathbun was arrested for vandalism.

According to officers, Rathbun damaged the inside of the police cruiser and also spit on it while on the way to jail.
