SOUTH SACRAMENTO-

Investigators are piecing together what happened in South Sacramento off a vague 911 call, and a man found dead.

Around 4 a.m. Friday, someone called to report multiple shots near 35th Street and 26th Avenue. Cops found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds, and little else.

Crime scene investigators spent hours in the neighborhood, keeping part of the street blocked off, as they tried to find traces of a shooter.

The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
