Federal transportation officials put the final nail in the tire of the popular budget bus line, Fung Wah today. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration issued an imminent hazard order, meaning conditions on the line could lead to serious injury or death, reports CBS New York.

The permanent shutdown order follows the preliminary shut down a month ago when the entire Fung Wah fleet was ordered taken off the road.

“The company failed to inspect, repair and maintain its vehicles, falsified inspection records, failed to ensure its drivers were qualified and complied with hours-of-service regulations, and failed to meet drug and alcohol testing requirements,” an FMCSA statement said.
