那些年, 我们的小幸运 (钢琴混搭)

Songs Mashed:
那些年 - from the movie You Are The Apple of My Eye
小幸运 - from the movie Our Times

I got the chance to check out probably two of the best teenage movies (Mandarin) ever produced over the past weekend, and couldn’t resist the urge to mash their two theme songs together. The two films has widely been compared with and against each other (not a surprise considering its similar storylines, character developments, settings and locations etc.), but if I had to pick the better one in my opinion, You Are The Apple of My Eye takes the cake for me. It is so, so close to home/heart, and reminds me so much of my primary and secondary school days. I spent nearly half of the film reminiscing about my times back then, and gosh does it hurt knowing that there’s practically no chance of experiencing that period of time again. Our Times had a good storyline and surprisingly sharp, albeit over-exaggerated, acting, but for someone who has troubles with acceptance and getting over things, the former left a deeper and more painful impact in my heart.
