Dana Renae-Jones, who played last season for the Flint Flames women's professional basketball team, just signed a contract to play for the Perry Lake Hawks in Perth, Australia.
Jones, a forward, averaged 10.8 points per game for Flint last season and has also played professionally in Austria, Australia and Holland and was in training camp with the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
Jones played college basketball at Southern Mississippi, averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds per game for her career. She also won team offensive and defensive MVP honors while in college.
