The Opals overcome Hungary 74-68

The Australian women's basketball team has shown spirit to hold off an in-form Hungary side, 74-68 in round two of the Felkeszulesi Torna in Hungary.

The Opals only took the lead in the final term against the physical home side after trailing 39-28 at half-time.

Belinda Snell helped close the gap when she nailed two key three-pointers and another right on the three-quarter time siren, to bring the Opals within three points, 55-52.

Holly Grima finished with an 18 point, 10 rebound double-double to lead the Aussies, while Kristi Harrower finished with 13 and Jenna O'Hea added 11 points.

The Opals wrap up their tour with a game against Romania.
