El, of Tallahassee Community College, and Nixon, of Gulf Coast Community College, are the third and fourth members of the Jaguars' 2010 recruiting class, joining Taylor Ammons and Ronneka Robertson.

The 5-9 El helped TCC to a 20-9 finish and No. 12 national ranking. She led the team with 13.5 points per game, 52 three-pointers and 68 assists. She played at North Texas as a freshman.

"She is a player who has already demonstrated that she can score with the basketball, both from beyond the arc and off the dribble," Pietri said. "She is a strong, solid athlete who can cover and defend."

The 5-9 Nixon was a key reserve who helped GCCC to a 32-1 finish and a national title. She averaged 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds.

"She is a very long, athletic player who is known for her defensive prowess covering perimeter players," Pietri said.
