OfA ramps up a small business push

Organizing for America, seeking to sell Obama's policies to a sometimes skeptical group, is shifting away from the last two years of legislative efforts tomorrow with a small business push, the group's spokeswoman, Lynda Tran, emails:

OFA is deploying our top volunteer leaders to engage small business owners in canvasses that launch tomorrow in all fifty states. In particular, OFA volunteers will go door-to-door to talk to the owners of establishments in high-traffic urban areas to engage them around the Administration's efforts to support small businesses -- from the Small Business Jobs Act to the Recovery Act, from the Affordable Care Act to the Startup America initiative. This small business outreach program is a return to the traditional community organizing that has been the hallmark of the OFA movement.
