Dell Inspiron Duo priced at $549 and more specs revealed

The Dell Inspiron Duo was revealed with a video teaser a few weeks back and today we have infos of it's price and specs, good. For those who do not know what this Inspiron Duo is, it is Dell's offering to the market that is quite different. It is not your ordinary tablet or your ordinary netbook. As the name suggests it's a hybrid, giving you the best of both worlds.

That video teaser that dell have posted on YouTube, was the signal that the launching of this device is near. But a video wouldn't give us anything other than just teasing us what Dell is in store for its consumers. Don't worry we have specs right here that might interest you more in getting this hybrid device.

This device will be housing an Intel Atom N550 processor, 2GB RAM, Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator, 250GB HDD, and will be running on Windows 7 Home Premium. The hybrid will be featuring a 10.1' capacitive touch screen display with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Things are looking great for this hybrid.

When everything get's flipped, the netbook-turned-tablet, will automatically switch from your familiar Windows 7 screen UI to Dell's new Stage UI. That will make things even more interesting as this will eliminate any annoyances from touching the small buttons and whatnots on your regular Windows 7 UI.

Dell will start shipping the hybrid just in time for the holiday season, first week of December. So for those of you who wants this hybrid then you might want to prepare your $549 taken out from your pockets in exchange for the Dell Inspiron Duo.
